ReliabilityBench is an independent practical-tool site for people who make availability, maintenance, asset, and MRO decisions in industrial operations.
What we are building
The site connects four workstreams that often get managed separately: reliability engineering, maintenance performance, asset and downtime economics, and MRO spare-parts planning. The goal is not to replace a CMMS, EAM, reliability study, or financial model. It is to make a calculation transparent and usable at the moment a team needs to frame a question.
Every calculator is designed to show what it does, the inputs it expects, the formula or method used, a worked example, interpretation, and known limits. That context is intentional: a bare number can look precise even when the data scope is wrong.
Our editorial standard
We prefer a smaller set of distinct, maintained tools to a large collection of near-duplicate calculators. Formulas are presented with their assumptions; units and boundaries are explicit; and practical notes point out conditions where a simple model should not decide the issue alone.
