Method and decision boundary
Completeness = arithmetic mean of six field completion percentages
Every field has equal weight in this screening method. A populated value can still be wrong, stale, or inconsistent, so follow the ranked gaps with duplicate checks and source-document sampling.
When to use it
Use it before KPI reporting, a CMMS migration, a hierarchy rebuild, or a monthly data-quality review. Preserve the population definition and field rules when comparing periods.
Limitations
The six fields are a practical maintenance baseline, not a universal standard or compliance checklist. Add organization-specific fields outside this score and approve the data dictionary locally.
