Method
Each equally spaced reading contributes one sample interval to a load band. Positive readings at a 10% boundary belong to the band ending at that boundary; 0% is reported separately as idle, and values above 100% are retained as an overload-review band.
Interpretation
A load profile shows exposure, not damage or efficiency. Compare the distribution with the correct rated basis, declared operating region, equipment mode, and source-data quality. A peak may be one reading; mean load may hide cycling.
Worked example and limitations
The 12 sample readings at 15-minute intervals represent 3 hours. Their arithmetic mean is 45%, peak is 100%, and two zero readings produce 0.5 hours of idle exposure. Irregular timestamps must be resampled or analyzed with an interval-aware method before using this tool.
